Review of Death Becomes Her (1992) by Matt M — 28 Jan 2013
Dark comedy that chronicles the rivalry between two women whose obsession with beauty and fears of ageing results in a competition for the same man, an alcoholic doctor, and a devilish pact for everlasting beauty.
While the film can be praised for its make up and special effects, as well as a somewhat cult following due to its bizarre nature, the characters are too cold and the screenplay lacks some real bite.
