Review of Death Becomes Her (1992) by Bruce R — 23 Jun 2014
The idea of this movie while not totally original is more than welcomed by me. It was engaging while being a bit on the weird side but to me that's what makes it funny. Streep delivers (shocking), Willis maintains, and Hawn was flat out hilarious.
The scene where she re watches Streep get strangled over and over again is incredibly genius and done well. It is also nice seeing the repercussions of living forever such as a neck that turns backwards.
Seeing the touch ups Bruce does for the ladies is classic as well as the way they develop a need for him. This is an underrated comedy with some great performances.
