Review of Death at a Funeral (2007) by Kyo 9 — 26 Jul 2010
If you are into grim dark comedy and something that cna be at the same time torturing this would be your film. There are some funny performances, the setting really is very nice. The fun goes halfway as a little drug taken in by one of the guests is accidentally mistaken for headache tablets.
And when some of the guests get some of their hands on it and mistake it for something else the funeral goes really wrong. Not to mention a famous annoying and stuck up brother, a grumpy wheelchaired old man, a man who hallucinates after mistakenly taking the drug and a dwarf like man who has a secret that will shock the whole family.
It ends nicely, but it just is all round torturing to watch these funny moments take place.
