Review of Death at a Funeral (2007) by Tyler M — 31 Mar 2012
It's horrible horrible comedy at it's absolute best! A doped out in law, gay midget, and a corpse... And a whole lot more... Comparable to Eulogy (only much better), this is black humor crafted to near perfection. There's a handfull of characters here that you get to know throughout the film, though you'll really only be entertained by a few of them. The style isn't anything amazing and the cinematography isn't astounding, but the sheer hillarity of the jokes and the amount of laughs crammed into 90 minutes is something rarely seen.
Starting off a little slow, once the ball really starts rolling and the chaos begins to snowball into incomprehensible happening after incomprehensible happening, you'll wish it went on longer.
Also, some of Peter Dinklages best work here. It's a shorter role but it's quality acting until the very end.
