Review of Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father (2008) by Desmond T — 21 Mar 2009
To those that will watch the film, I would tell them several things:
1) It is not a documentary, so don't judge it as such, especially after the first 10 minutes. While it is done to a backdrop of a lot of fast-cut MTV style editing with dramatic background, you will understand it if you bear in mind that it is a tribute, and again, not a documentary.
2) If you can, watch the movie before finding out about the events and issues at hand.
3) Definitely do read up about the events and issues afterwards.
