We are beginning to enter a period where people's entire lives are on tape. Andrew Bagby was the protagonist in all his childhood friends DIY movies as they grew up. Decades later, with Dr. Bagby dead, his friend begins to make a movie about his friend, which turns into something else as the story goes amazingly off the rails, then turning into something else entirely as the roller coaster takes another sickening lurch in an unforeseen direction.

A film to grip you and never let you go, to make you angry and sad and wring every little bit of energy out of you. Simply put: one of the best documentaries of 2008.
