Review of Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father (2008) by Marcus W — 26 Apr 2009
Devastating. I kind of wish I hadnt watched it-but once I started it, I couldnt stop (keeping me up til 2am). It was something I had never seen before-a personal and emotional documentary- The filmaker choking up during his narration, the anger of the grandparents.
The montage in red after a tragedy almost made me throw up - the anger and despair was palpable. A tough, tough movie.
