Review of Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father (2008) by Benton M — 14 Aug 2009
This is one of the saddest, most gripping documentaries I have ever watched. It really puts in prospective how little you might know about your best friends and how much you may never know.
By far some of the most compelling audio is when Kurt, a friend of the deceased, starts to lose it while talking or when Andrews father unleashes his feelings toward Shirley, the murderer, for what she took.
This movie is put together in a way that you will really get to know Andrew and the life he had assembled for himself. I can't recommend watching this movie enough. It's well worth your time.
