Review of Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father (2008) by Cody R — 09 May 2014
I've never been so failed by the words I know to express how I feel, but the closest I can come is this movie will tear your heart out. After watching it I couldn't sleep, I just kept going through the events in my head trying to make sense of them in my own non-religious way.
It wasn't until two days after when I saw a mother with her happy smiling baby that I realized that happy lives do still exist and they are beautiful, that's what this movie did for me at least, gave me a new level of appreciation for family and life.
