Review of Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father (2008) by Nathan M — 29 Nov 2014
One of the most heartbreaking and tearjerking stories I've ever seen, and it is so expertly told that you can't take your eyes off the screen. With intimate care, Kurt Kuenne tells the story of his friend's murder and the custody battle for his son.
This movie tugs on every single emotion you could possibly have: anger and outrage, hope and joy, and tragic compassion. It's absolutely a must-see and one of the best documentaries I've ever seen.
