Review of Dear White People (2014) by Michael J — 11 Feb 2015
Tessa Thompson's character Tess White provides fresh and cutting critiques to Hollywood, academics, and U.S. society. A well-rounded and critical examination of race-relations in the United States with many formidable actors.
At times, the script seems overly segmented and formulaic, but the dialogue lifts you up and away from these issues.
