Review of Dear Wendy (2005) by Codie E — 09 Mar 2008
A very odd film; it's hard to judge if everything Vinterberg and Von Trier intended is here in the film, as there are a lot of observations but whether these are the things the pair are trying to say is not always easy to tell.
It does go off the rails at times (again not sure if this is intentional) but the cast is great and the film has a really good mood. Dod Mantle's photography also shines through.
