Review of Dear Wendy (2005) by Sean O — 13 Oct 2008
Suprisingly good drama about a group of social misfilts lead by Jamie Bell who start an underground club called the Dandies where each of them have a gun and fire off rounds, perform skits and dress up in old clothes.
They never brandish the weapons to anyone even when provoked in a fight, they are their to make them feel confident and not be afraid anymore. This is a very original and imaginative idea with a fantastic final scene and a great performance by Jamie Bell, I prefer him when he plays this type of character then the one in Jumper.
Well worth watching.
