Review of Dear John (1964) by Shaye Ann B — 24 Jul 2011
Wow. I was very pleasant surprised by this movie and I'm rather surprised at the low rating here. Although some of the plot is predictable there is plenty here that is different and there is at least one shocking development that took me totally by surprise.
I would like to see John's character more vocal and developed more but that's hard to do if the whole point is that he is a tight lipped introvert. I recommend it.
