Gregg Kinnear is a likeable actor but here he is let down by an awful script. It's cast of characters is difficult to like and sympathise with and the basic Scrooge turned good guy theme has been far better explored elsewhere.
Billed as a comedy. it's fatally short on the funny. After thirty minutes you'll be praying that it will end and be put out of its misery as soon as possible.
