Review of Dear Frankie (2004) by Bree S — 19 Aug 2008

I waited a long time to see this movie not because I had to but because I wasn't too excited about it. But when I started to watch it boom! great surprise right in the beginning. Cast was the biggest reason why I watched this in the first place and it didn't let me down.

Emily Mortimer and Gerard Butler were great but so was Frankies actor and the woman who played Lizzies friend. I liked the connection with the mother (Lizzie) and Frankie even though she was lying to her son etc but still it was very moving.

And then in the end Frankie gives her mother a chance because he's such a smart boy. I don't know it was really believable but it was a nice thing :).
