Review of Dean Spanley (2008) by Chris H — 16 Nov 2009
Just watched this tonight. An odd, but sweet little film, centering on four key players, and conversations, over a very potent liquor, in 19th century England. Jeremy Northam, an actor who I have admired for a long time is the films narrator, but the film belongs to Sam Neil, whose revelation of a previous life experience, will ultimately heal a rift between Father and Son.
Not for everyone, but if your willing to go in with an open mind, there is much to be enjoyed.
