Review of Dean (2016) by Colin S — 31 May 2017
A simple, touching, sweet movie from first time director Demetri Martin. At the screening I saw Martin confessed to being influenced by Woody Allen's New York trilogy (Annie Hall, Manhattan, Stardust Memories) and it shows in a good way.
As a director Martin has a light touch and as an actor is a likeable everyman.
