Review of Deadpool (2016) by Bobby C — 07 Mar 2017

The hype train was strong with Deadpool before and after its release. The film was a breath of fresh air in a genre that is facing issues of fatigue from many. For audiences that were begging for something different, this was the film that fulfilled that urge.

I enjoyed this film a lot and I'm happy for Ryan Reynolds who had struggled to attach himself to a successful project for many years. We all knew that Reynolds had talented the role of Deadpool was the role he was born to play.

While some consider Deadpool the best comic film of the year (and possibly one of the all-time greats), I just could not give it that spot on this list.
