Never have the words "Born for this Role" been more apt. Deadpool has always been a shit talking, 4th wall breaking, stark raving lunatic who could katana the fuck out of anything. He's also always been R-Rated.
Very R-Rated. Ryan Reynolds is magic here in the romantic comedy...er the comic book movie...um the most action-y action movie of the year. Yeah. It's all of those things. And while it may end it's bucking of convention in the final battle scene by returning to cookie cutter good guy/bad guy fight, it does so with such humor it is forgivable.
Deadpool is movie done right.
