Review of Deadpool (2016) by John Eric D — 16 Jul 2016
The Goods.
-Funtastic, it's not just your typical action super hero kinda film. But it adds over the top dark comedy throughout the film.
-Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool. He has the charisma. He nailed it!
-Great action, I love the fighting sequences, well choreographed. Watching Deapool in action is like imagining Jackie Chan in an Avengers film.
-Great chemistry! Morena and Reynolds as a love team is perfect. I love to see more of them together.
-Movies, actors, 80's music preferences you named it. I love how Wade mentioned all of those stuff that makes this film bat shit crazy! Which is awesome!
-Character driven! It focuses on Deadpool, his past till he becomes Deadpool and how he become one of the superheroes. There's no B.S it's all about him and some familiar faces from the X-Men.
The Bad.
-Not a fan of those flashbacks, I'm not really interested about it, It kinda looses its momentum. Where you already have the best scenes yet it cut out due to flashbacks.
-They over the top it a bit. Some jokes are just way off. it's not that funny at times.
Overall: Definitely the funnest Marvel film ever. I enjoyed GoG's humor and all but Deadpool really captivates the word "FUN!" This is how you make it ladies and gents.
