Review of Deadpool (2016) by Terrible_Lizard — 15 Feb 2016
This is a 10 out of 10 for fans of the comic: the movie captures Deadpool almost perfectly. The writers also stick to Deadpool as he has been written in the comics, with the exception of tinkering with his origin just a bit.
In short, Deadpool fans (and fans of Marvel's universe) should be ecstatic that the studio did not eff this one up. If you haven't read the comics but like Ryan Reynolds and like comic-based movies that don't take themselves too seriously, this is still a 7 out of 10.
Do not, do not, take you children to see this. Beyond being hyper-violent and containing nudity and colorful language aplenty, it is rather dark at times.
