Review of Deadpool 2 (2018) by Captiosus — 18 May 2018
I enjoyed it but didn't find it as entertaining as the first. Too many recycled jokes (looking at you X-Men/FOX Studios jokes), some of the references and fourth-wall breaks felt overly contrived. It's definitely a film for fans of Deadpool -- if this is going to be your first experience with Deadpool, STOP and go get the first movie NOW.
I can think of many worse ways to spend 2 hours of my time but, unlike the first movie, I probably won't see it again until it hits Blu-ray/digital release.
