Review of Deadpool 2 (2018) by Edric V — 19 May 2018

I like the movie but I expected so much more from Deadpool 2. It has all the ingredients that made the original so much fun, witty script, vulgar dialogues and great action sequences. Still, somehow it was not as entertaining, the two things they could have improved on was, having an origin story, we could have done with one on Cable, this would have added the much-needed storytelling element to the script.

Another was the quality of gags, there were as many misses as hits, I felt the jokes were either too American centric or associated with movies I had not seen. Nevertheless, the movie is funny and charming, with the X force playing the best part, epically Domino, she is a treat to watch.
