Review of Deadpool 2 (2018) by Yash B — 21 May 2018

Back in 2016, the first "Deadpool" was a true breath of fresh air for the superhero genre. This sequel delivers the same nonstop laughs, explosive action, and just pure fun the first one did.

This time around the movie has a heartfelt center and that really makes you care. The movie is just such a blast to experience and all of the characters, new or old, are super entertaining. Despite having a different director, the movie still has the same look and feel as the first while simultaneously telling a whole new story.

Ryan Reynolds is lovable as the title role and Josh Brolin's Cable is a nice entry for the franchise and a fairly complex and interesting villain. Fans of the first movie will adore this movie. I truly cannot think of a moment in this movie where I wasn't either laughing out loud consistently or just savoring the sensational action scenes.
