Review of Deadpool 2 (2018) by Nick A — 22 May 2018
Some spoilers.
It seems the movie was more about comedy and pop culture references than a superhero movie. I didn't understand what the main plot was until an hour and a half in when they mentioned Cable was from the future who came back to kill firefist since the kid becomes a bad guy and kills Cable's family. The plot itself was good once it actually got to it. I just could have done away with every other few sentences being a "look into the camera" lame commentary from deadpool. In the end people seemed to enjoy it. The movie theater laughed along. I just thought it wasn't worth the money. I would have waited till it came on basic cable.
