Deadpool 2 none spoilery review.

For those on my friends list that have yet to experience the 2nd instalment of the Deadpool franchise then here is my take on the film.

Deadpool 2 comes off the highly successful 1st film which took none comic readers like me and millions of others by surprise and gave us a character that literally takes the piss out of the universe they inhabit. This fact impacts people's perception of the 2nd film with reviewers liking the film but generally feeling meh when comparing the two.

Ryan as stated that to make Deadpool work you need to put him in the worst situation, in which there is no way back and they do a good enough job of Rock meet Bottom (literally) in the 2nd film to make it last a solid 2 and bit hours.

I will be 1st to admit some parts don't work and then others just have you laughing your ass off. They work on the Deadpool character really well showing off a more emotional side to him than you would expect.

Action sequences are littered throughout and in true fashion from the previous instalment, Deadpool is on hand to take the piss out of them too.

The stand out characters away from Deadpool who is great, is Domino and Cable. The actress playing Domino did a wonderful job portraying an ability that should be hard to do, considering she as to react to everything going on around her. Cable is another strong character which in fairness could have been fleshed out more in the opening segments, you can tell why he is doing what he is doing but would have been nice to get a solid connection to him.

So if number 1 was a love story number 2 tries to be a family film, just one with swearing, violence and sexual references and a scene that you can never unsee even it you try.

Stick around during the end credits as Deadpool continues to take the piss out of the film making and the current Marvel obsession with end credit scenes by offering up two lengthy ones of his own.

So when going to see Deadpool 2 please go in not wanting something to recapture the 1st film, because nothing will beat the nostalgia of the 1st film. It was a unique experience in recent movie going experiences. Number 1 had to send you on a journey of how Wade becomes Deadpool, you are now seeing Wade embracing being Deadpool and the adventures he is going on.
