Deadpool, America's favorite meta superhero, returns for his second incarnation nearly two years after his burst onto the scene with his origin. Bigger. Badder. More vugar, clever, and raunchier than the first. However, with the shine a bit dulled, DP2 barely comes in second to the original due to one question: what was the ooint of this film in the grand scheme of things?

Ryan Reynolds reclaims his throne has the merc with the mouth. Once again, you can see why this was a role born for him to play. The jokes are just as witty and funny as they weere before, and I dont remember anything being recycled from the first. You know everything about his character, so lets talk more about Cable and the X Force members.

It is the sumer of Josh Brolin. Hes in yet another Marvel associated film, but this time, we actually see him instead of a CGI infused purple baddie. Cable is a great roll for him, and while he looks the part, the writing for him was a bit stale. That could just be a straight from the page take on his character though. Lets also give a head nod to Zazie Beetz. Her breakthrough in Atlanta on TV helped snag her what appears to be a reoccuring role as Domino.

Through all the gags and jokes and ohysical comedy, there is a plot here about saving the world, or a kid, or himself, or something like that. I suppose it doesnt really have to mean much when you are laughing along the entire way.
