Review of Deadpool 2 (2018) by Jin T — 25 May 2018
This movie fell short. While there was a lot of laughs here and there, it still didn't justify the story it self. It was cool for Josh Brolin to portray as Cable but his character lack on what is really being cable, so he was just there.
X-Force became a joke. Which was really a parody to the usual and yet terrible team ups we've witnessed over the years. If you think the jokes are far too much than you didn't look at memes enough to even be okay with the stuff that's happened in this movie.
If you didn't then it may be funny to you anyways. Overall, some of the parts were reused and rehashed from the first one and just lazy writing for the sequel. Don't get me wrong, I love the Marvel character Deadpool but I feel like this one just didn't live up to its incredible and distasteful amount of ads telling us that it's the most hype movie ever.
This is the kind of problem that Fox does with their superhero movies. no in-depth progression and character development is little to no existence. I'd still watch this movie again since there were a lot of scenes that I enjoyed so much like looking at the same f***cking memes every day.
Especially the s***tposts and reposts. It's great. Oh and I can't stand the forced romance. Plus it was dragging on so much that it sucked ***.
