Review of Deadpool 2 (2018) by Cody D — 27 May 2018

I think somewhere along the way, Deadpool achieved this weird pop culture status that shields it from a lot of criticism. This movie definitely has some funny parts, but it also has parts that make me want to blow myself up from boredom. Part of that is because Deadpool 2 attempts to have a bit more of a story than the last one, and honestly doesn't handle it amazingly well in my opinion. The other part of it is that I don't 100% match with Deadpool's brand of humor.

Overall, it is a fun enough movie, but a bit overrated. If you enjoyed the first one a lot, you will enjoy this one as well.
