When the majority of the jokes don't land, you're left with two things in a film like this: the plot and the action. Both are...ok. I was hoping for a lot more from the action, given the pedigree (David Leitch) but a lot of it is some really ugly looking CGI set pieces.
And the plot is very much standard action superhero fare. So...yeah. I'm ambivalent on this one, which is sad, because I feel the original was tight and original.
