Review of Deadpool 2 (2018) by Moviereviewer45 — 19 May 2018
Movie is an improvement over the original. The movie has an emotional resonance that was not seen in its predecessor. Character introduction for the new characters was not executed properly as their character development is quite poor especially for the new kid villain (now a new member of the team). I didn't like the personality or characterization for that kid.
What I like in this movie is the overall humor. It manages to attract me with its well-executed humorous gags made by Deadpool himself. The humor seems a little corny at some points but rather it still successfully delivered. The relationship between Deadpool and his fiancee in the first movie is quite cliche and not so romantic to be expected. In this sequel, I have witnessed an improvement in their relationship as a couple which adds some dramatic and quite sad scenes on some part of the movie.
And lastly, the CGI is great and is not an implication of the movie being a small budgeted film. The movie delivers overall. Congrats to the whole team that made the movie and the whole cast as well.
Score: 7/10 or 3.
