Review of Deadpool 2 (2018) by Franzhcritic — 28 Jun 2018
I saw this movie last month and forgot to review it. Given my general bias against sequels, 'Deadpool 2' is actually a smart, hilarious film that continues what it's predecessor does. It subverts the traditional superhero movie and all its cliches, starting with its eponymous protagonist, someone you can sympathize with and route for, even if he is a downright a**hole.
The writing is obviously less original (sequel) but it's still a fun ride while it lasts. And it leaves me already anticipating 'Deadpool 3.
