Review of Deadly Force (1983) by Senor C — 30 Dec 2011
After the fantastic Vice Squad Wings Hauser tries to follow up w/ Deadly Force & as an outcast cop turned pirate eye he's no where in the league of Ramrod. Although it tries on occasion to trend that seedy line far too often its by the numbers & is hampered by a lot of padding.
Did he really need a love interest? No not really but the script writers seemed to think it needed to follow that formula..or maybe Wings just wanted to show his ass. I didn't need to see it. That must have been for the ladies.
All in all it's not bad/ it's watchable but you're mostly just putting in your time. You want some classic Hauser watch Vice Squad again..the role he should have gotten a Oscar for.
