Review of Deadliest Prey (2013) by Ian C — 09 Jul 2014
When making a sequel it is very hard to eclipse the original. So, it is going to be impossible to out do one of the greatest films ever made. This is the dilemma that faced David A. Prior.
Danton is back and yet again he is kidnapped when putting out the rubbish for the bin men. Hogan is just released from prison and obviously liked his twenty seven years in the slammer because his ridiculous revenge plan is going to send him back inside.
Once again, Danton will be hunted but this time it is broadcast online and watched in pubs and television. Some quality kills and the ending is priceless. Nice tribute to the denim cut offs but when living off the land sadly, in this he opted for dog food over rats.
Fans of the 1987 classic will lap this up.
