Review of Deadlier Than the Male (1967) by Stephen M — 09 Jul 2008
A rather gentle spoof of the 007 genre, that nearly trips over itself when it practically becomes a Bond film. Gratuitous shots of lovely women in bikinis with guns, ridiculous gadgets (cigars that fire bullets, anyone?), and a relentless attraction to our leading man from any human creature with female sexual organs.
This is as silly as silly gets, but will no doubt have you guiltily admitting to your peers that you enjoyed it, even if it was just for the ladies.
