Review of Deadgirl (2008) by Patrick J — 18 Oct 2010

First off: THIS IS NOT A MOVIE FOR THE SQUEAMISH...I am not exaggerating the tiniest bit. This movie has many truly disturbing and gut churning moments. Not through gore or special effects but through story and characters.

This movies has some truly dark and sick observations on the male psyche (some more true than I'd like to admit). slow paced but unrelenting. I've seen some hardcore horror in my day and this one got under my skin and stayed there for awhile.

..has to be seen to be believed. But the truly creepy moments are unfortunately surrounded by some bad acting occasionally weak scripting and direction, but the highlights are worth wading through the rest.

Made my skin crawl...
