Review of Deadgirl (2008) by Saumitra S — 02 Jul 2009
Uhh, still not too sure about this one. I guess what the producers/screenwriters try to give us was a critical take on society, social standards in high school, friendship and moral disintegration. In part, I'd say they succeeded.
.sadly, the rest of the movie didn't work out that well. Some of the actors were mediocre at best and the plot had some major plotholes. (Probably most people wouldn't care about those facts, but I hate when movies like this leave me with a huge load of unanswered questions.
.such as, what happened to the original dead girl? Why the hell was she 'undead' to begin with, where did she come from?..What happened to everyone else?) What I really liked, though, was the unforeseen ending with quite an interesting twist.
