Review of Deadgirl (2008) by April S — 27 Sep 2009

A movie obviously made for horror buffs. Christ this movie made me so happy. It polarizes the audience, with half of the viewers being sickened and disgusted by it, the other half loving every minute of it.

Hell, you could even include me in the small group of people whose only complaint would be that there WASN'T enough raping and beating. It was fucked up like hell, but I have no limits for that. The story is about 2 teenagers from the wrong side of the tracks who like to cut class and party in an abandoned mental institution, drinking warm beers and destroying property.

When they find an almost-dead, naked girl strapped down to a gurney in the basement, one of them looks at it like the greatest gift on earth - a girl you can do anything you want to with and face no consequences, while the other guy is totally indifferent, because he's afflicted by these stupid things called "morals".

Then the rapings and beatings begin, and the deadgirl fucker discovers she cannot be killed, after attempting to three times. He starts bringing other friends in on the action, even though it was supposed to be the 2 of them's secret.

When one of the other kids gets tricked into getting a blow job from her, and she bites hard into his penis, it is then revealed that she is some sort of zombie, since they start to die but won't (I loved when he shits out all of his intestines).

That's when they realize they can make more dead girls to keep as fucktoys. The funniest scene is when they try to abduct a girl from the gas station, and lure her to their car with promises of weed.

When they clobber her on the head with a tire iron she just stares at them starting to bleed, and promptly beats the fucking crap out of them. So then they abduct the moralistic guy's girlfriend, and, shit, I've said too much.

Just check it out. I was too excited about this movie.
