There are a few lines of dialog in "Deadgirl" that reveal the intended story and message of the film (the commentary on the bonus features bear witness to this intent). Unfortunately, the skill of the filmmakers is not up to the task.
The story, as filmed, does not convey any of the deep plots that the director intends. I give them 5 stars for vision and guts, but they only deserve 1 star for execution.
