Review of Deadfall (2012) by Jon-James H — 03 Nov 2012
Slightly better than average thriller that rehashes familiar themes, whilst adding a touch of realism, avoiding stereotypes, and posing a few questions about morality. Where does the line lie and what will make you cross it?
The actors all do a good job, bar Hunnam, who for reasons I put down to miscasting, just isn't convincing as the former boxer who instantly falls for the wrong girl.
One to watch once and then discard for eternity, without feeling you've just wasted 90 minutes of your life. Thankfully it doesn't go beyond the 90 and stew in its own moodiness.
