Review of Dead Within (2014) by Matt G — 07 Oct 2014
It's so nice to find a truly terrifying horror film that isn't based on blood or body count. Dead Within is a contained story, 99% of which is told from within a cabin in the middle of a zombie-like epidemic.
However, the thrills are found not in the flesh-eating monsters, but in the way we respond to disaster. A surprising little gem with some good performances and interesting thoughts on co-dependence.
