As a narrative precursor to the EA Video Game Dead Space, it's a little lacklustre, instead focusing on some really gruesome animation and the moody paranoia of a horror film. While the characterisation and animation can sometimes be Saturday morning cartoon - it's still far better than a promotional cash-in should be.
