Review of Dead Snow (2009) by Shakya B — 16 May 2014
Dead Snow (Død snø) Norwegian semi-horror film, directed by Tommy Wirkola. Of course we do not need to know the stars in it. Dead Snow spawned a sequel in February, 2014.
It follows the group of students embarking on tour to icy-mountains of Norway. They're ambushed by what seems to be World-War II Nazi soldiers-turned-zombies. One by one the bodies of all students fall, as they contemplate the reason behind such reawakening among the Nazi.
Dead Snow is dead on itself, but it comes with hilarious scenes, and huge quantity of bloodshed to quench your thirst. The clarity of incineration of human-body is well-kept, to terrorize you. There're jolts, and humor in dialogue-delivery. Not a great film but sufficient to pass your boring day.
