Review of Dead Snow (2009) by Mark B — 23 Oct 2014
One word: entrails. 'Nuff said. How much fun can still be had with the zombie-movie horror subgenre? "Dead Snow" proves the answer is a ton, thank you very much. Deftly mixing laughs, wildly creative gore, and some genuine chills, "Snow" manages to be unlike any zombie movie I've ever scene while still satisfying certain needs viewers expect to have met during a film focusing on the living dead (hint: entrails).
Most importantly, and unlike so many horror movies, the cast of zombie-chow is actually likable enough that you find yourself rooting for them throughout.
