Review of Dead Silence (2007) by Marco P — 21 Feb 2010
Saw it on Cinemax recently and I agree with the other reviews: Dead Silence boasts hammy acting. But it also boasts one of the creepiest premises ever, that of ventriloquists and their dolls. The image of Mary Shaw turned into a doll after death is probably one of the scariest and disturbing I have ever seen on film.
This movie has everything that can totally freak me out: old women ghosts, dolls, and corpses. 4 stars for that.
