Review of Dead Silence (2007) by Tait W — 16 Aug 2013
A decent horror flick with a good story and soundtrack to accompany it and makes up for some really creepy moments. It will certainly terrify anybody who has a phobia of ventriloquist dummies, but there wasn't a whole lot of things that kept the movie interesting and scary as it could have been.
The plot twist at the ending was bland, obvious, and just silly. It surely isn't the best work from James Wan and Leigh Whannell... but it's not terrible or not entertaining to watch,. It makes for a good first time watch, but not so much a re-watch.
