Review of Dead Silence (2007) by Jorge Eduardo S — 10 Oct 2013

Well, it was a good looking film. Other than that, I was quite bored throughout . It is so not even remotely close to anything resembling a scary movie. Hell, at the 1 hour mark, I was begging for jump scares to at least give me a cheap scare. The movie can't even do that. It's not that they even do it wrong and fail to scare you, it's that they don't even try at all. They are just banking that you are as scared of dolls as James Wan is. Don't bother. Just watch a stupid slasher flick. At least the jump scares might get you. When your horror film screams "Child's Play", you my good sir have failed.

Is it one of the worst I've ever seen, no. I'll forget about it in a week or two.
