Review of Dead Silence (1997) by Brian R — 12 Aug 2011
It takes itself too seriously but I don't care. By having subtle, stationary dolls there is some creepiness that was handled well - It's stretched out to rattle your nerves. The silenced moments are also genuinely hair-raising and atmospheric.
Overtly generic, yes, but with a cool twist and the occasional gore.
