Review of Dead Silence (1991) by Colin F — 28 May 2011
I had heard this film had performed badly at the box office but after watching can say it is actually very good, Itâ(TM)s a very atmospheric and creepy movie and really well made, to be honest the story is off the wall with Billy the puppet and it all becomes slightly confusing at the end but is still very entertaining.
The actual character of Ghost Mary Shaw is terrifying all the scenes she appears in honestly will make you jump, she just literally flies out of nowhere. Itâ(TM)s a real shame this film did not do better because you can tell at the end its set up for a sequel, what I thought was good on the DVD was it gave an alternative ending and to be honest this ending was better, because the final scene is just disturbing!.
Well worth checking out.
